WTB: 2 x SM81 Supersparc Processors

Would like to buy a couple of SM81 or SM81-2 processors for my SS20.
Just an enthusiast so can't pay much. If you have a couple kicking
around in the closet please let me know.

Oh, SM81 and SM81-2 are the proper SuperSparc II modules, but not for
a SS20. Its really doubtful that he'd find these specialized CPUs
available, as they were pulls from a Sparc Center 2000E to eak out
that extra 10Mhz that they ran over the SM71's that were the top
SuperSparcs that officially went in the SS20s.

Frankly, I don't know why anybody would bother over a 85MHz CPU anyway
vs. the 50-75 MHz CPU that is probably in there already.

There's a few stores around listing these parts for sale, but as I
mentioned, its not that common, being pulls from a rather rare SC2000.

I think more people trying to eak out speed went with the HyperSparcs
instead, the "speed" (100-125MHz) beat out the elegence of the SuperSparc
for most apps.

They fall short. Even the 200Mhz is slower overall than a SM71. This
is especially true when running with SX graphics. If you have a
single task to run (like a compile), the gap narrows.
